April 2010 : Training of Trainers (ToT) in Free Libre Open Source Software (FLOSS)
This is a two weeks sponsored training by Inwent (a German International Economic Capacity building company) and Free Open Source Software Foundation for Africa (FOSSFA-South Africa).
Training Participation Fee
The training/participation fee shall be USD.50 (approximately Kshs.3500 ) per person payable on registration day prior to commencing of the training (training dates to be announced).
Target Audience
The training targets organisations/individuals that want to venture in the ICT industry and or are already in the ICT Industry in Western and Nyanza provinces ( Western Kenya ).
Participants shall be taken through the FOSS modules as listed below:
- Introduction To FLOSS Business Models
- African FLOSS Business Models Case Studies
- Communicating FLOSS
- Introduction To Business Skills
- FLOSS Business Knowledge and Skills
- FLOSS Training
